Please join us to do some general upkeep at the cemetery as we get ready for Memorial Day and visitors during the summer months! Glendale Cemetery is a beautiful and historical cemetery in downtown Akron. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Glendale is the resting place for thousands, including many of Akron's founders and other notable residents. To help us get ready for Memorial Day and busy traffic during summer months, we need volunteers to help trim grass around headstones. Please join us as we honor those who call Glendale their final resting place and one of Akron's most beautiful and historic settings.
