Class will teach first time woodturners how to make a their own simple pen on the lathe. Pens make for great gifts, especially if they are hand-made. Learn the basics of spindle turning while creating a hand-turned pen that you can take home and enjoy. Materials will be provided for students. Successful completion of this course will result in certification of Technocopia members to free use of the tools directly covered in the course. Non-members who complete this course will be eligible to participate in future project-based classes which require these tools.
