Registration:
Tickets are free and are available at eventbrite.com and at the door. Donations graciously accepted. All proceeds benefit such programs as the Emogene Barstow Fund at the Eastman School of Music, scholarships for study at the Hochstein Music School, and funds for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
Background on Morning Musicale:
In 1930, Mrs. Warren Parks and Mrs. Walter Campbell recognized a need for a women’s music club. Its purpose would be to encourage women who were trained musicians to continue using their talents by performing for each other, as well as for the Rochester community at large. Today, Morning Musicale includes approximately 40 musicians, representing pianists, vocalists, and orchestral instrumentalists. In addition to performing at their monthly meeting, members of Morning Musicale also perform at various venues throughout the community.
