Tasting Event IVF Fundraiser for the Prouty Family

Join us May 14th from 12pm-5pm for our first ever tasting event. All proceeds will go directly towards our first round of IVF. As many of you know, Zach and I have been trying to conceive our own little Geek Chic baby for the past 20 months. It has been a very long and stressful journey, with doctor appointment after doctor appointment, all sorts of testing, and too many negative pregnancy test. About 2 months ago, we found out that our only option of conceiving a child is to go through IVF. Unfortunately our insurance does not cover the medications, monitoring, or procedure. Tickets will be $30/adult & $15/children 18 and under. Ticket will include multiple samplings, as well as a $5 off coupon towards a purchase in Geek Chic Floral Boutique. We are so thankful to all of the support we have received from businesses willing to participate in the event. We will be sampling food that you can find throughout our store, such as Nats Nuts, FLX Popcorn, Guglielmo pasta sauce, Kissed By The Sun seasoning, Arbor Hill wine jellies, hot sauces, candy, and so much more! Mortalis Brewery will also be joining us for a beer tasting! The Cake Place and Finger Lakes Cookie Company will be providing desserts! We are still trying to connect with a local winery or cidery for the event as well! Many businesses have also reached out to us about donating items or a gift basket for the event, so we will also be hosting a raffle. Raffle tickets will be available for $4/each or 3 for $10! Raffle tickets can be added during check out, or can be purchased at the event! All proceeds will be going towards our IVF cycle through CNY Fertility. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page the next couple of weeks to learn more about the items we will be sampling, and the gift baskets we will be raffling off!
