Description

I am very unfortunately having to rehome my Quaker Parrot, Otis. She is nearly 19 years old (20 on May 4th) but she’s very healthy. She was my aunt’s bird but she neglected her for 13 years and left her in a cage untouched, I started caring for her when she was 15 and she’s been my best friend since then. She’s very anxious and scared around new people at first but warms up fairly quickly! She does like women more than men. She can be cage aggressive at times but once she’s out she is an entirely different bird. She loves blowing kisses and knows a few simple phrases along with tons of other bird noises ( ie: wild birds, parakeets, cockatiels, etc.) I’m asking a $200 rehoming fee for her alone and $300 with her cage and all her toys & accessories. Updates on her will be required and vet references. With my job hours I cannot give her the affection and time she deserves, all I want is for her to live a happy life.
