Join us for the 8th Annual OBGYN Symposium for Nurses and Physicians on Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20, 2022 at UTC - University Center Join us for the 8th Annual OBGYN Symposium for Nurses and Physicians on Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20, 2022 at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga – University Center, located on MOCS Alumni Drive. The event will be hosted from 8 AM – 5 PM each day and will include sessions focused on both obstetrics, including emergency obstetrics, newborn care, and gynecology with a focus on gynecology oncology, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. AMA Credit Designation: The University of Tennessee College of Medicine (UTCOM) designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Continuing Education for Non-Physicians: The UTCOM will issue Certificates of Participation to non-physicians for participating in this activity and designates it for CEUs using the national standard that 1 hour of educational instruction is awarded .1 CEU. Accreditation: The UTCOM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Note that the Continuing Education for Non-Physicians statement above is not required and just intended as an FYI for non-physicians, so we recommend including it for activities that anticipate non-physician learners.
