Learn how to use your food waste from cooking and create beautiful natural dyes on textiles! Calling all DIYers, artists, nature lovers, sustainability enthusiasts and anyone eager to learn a new hobby! Join Natural Dye Collective and learn how to recycle your food waste and take a step towards sustainability by transforming it into beautiful natural dyes! During our two and a half hour class, you will learn how ingredients found around the kitchen can be used to add color and pattern to textiles, experiment with different shades of color, and dye your own grocery tote. There will also be a light farm to table lunch provided using the very ingredients we are going to be dyeing with. This is one class you will not want to miss! Come eat good food, drink some wine, meet fun people and learn a new sustainable practice that you will be able to easily do at home.
