Job description General Duties and Responsibilities: Learn the construction activities for each stage of construction per Bridgewater procedures Maintaining community, construction sites, inventory, and model homes to be sales presentation ready Assist in scheduling, coordinating, supervising and inspecting the activities of subcontractors and vendors Assist in walking and inspecting construction sites daily to verify specifications and deadlines are met Inspect all stages of construction on designated homes (stage punch) Help ensure homes are completed prior to Homebuyer Orientation meeting and scheduled closing date Learn construction best practices such as organization, scheduling, material management, stage punch, negotiation, trade management, safety, quality control and customer satisfaction Keep on-site Superintendent informed of progress on any assigned tasks Gain a knowledge of scope of work for each major subcontractor Verify delivery of materials to construction sites; communicate delivery issues to Superintendent Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Assist in scheduling municipal inspections as directed and interact with inspectors Qualifications: Ability and willingness to grow with the position and company Workforce experience demonstrating strong desire for success, organization and leadership Provide quality customer service and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Basic knowledge of business management principles Willingness to work in a non-smoking environment Highly detailed and accurate Knowledgeable about the use of computers and computer software Current, valid driver’s license and proof of current, auto liability insurance of at least the state required minimum amount Qualifications Considered a Plus: Previous experience with a production homebuilder English and Spanish speaking Familiarity with calendar or scheduling software Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field Benefit Conditions: Waiting period may apply This Company Describes Its Culture as: Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused Outcome-oriented -- results-focused with strong performance culture People-oriented -- supportive and fairness-focused COVID-19 Precaution(s): Remote interview process Personal protective equipment provided or required Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,500.00 per year
