The SOCC invites you to attend the Miracle on the Mountain, first-ever, Women in Recovery Banquet. The La Paz event center, tucked away in the Tehachapi mountains is the perfect place for you to come and share an amazing evening with women, like you, who are in recovery. The evening begins with your arrival at La Paz located in Keene, CA. There is plenty of free parking outside this beautiful venue. After you register, take a look at the table with the fun items that will be raffled off, you will have plenty of opportunities to participate and win. Once you enter the elegant dining room we’ll have a little ice breaker so you can get to know the other attendees and then we will start the 50/50 raffle. The evening will begin with a delicious dinner served buffet style, complete with coffee, tea and dessert. After dinner there will be a break, feel free to mingle on the patio and enjoy a breath of fresh air. We will return to the dining room to hear Carla R share her experience, strength and hope. Carla found sobriety in Southern California and has 34 years of continuous recovery. She is an active member in the fellowship and loves Alcoholics Anonymous! We know you will be inspired by her powerful story. At the end of the evening we’ll announce the 50/50 and raffle winners and maybe even have a surprise for some attendees as well! This is a semi-formal event and The Sisterhood of the Crooked Crown is offering a Dress Drive. For those who would like to come and shop the outfits available please see our website.
