I'm seeking a healthy, active, reliable and stable man that likes to work with his hands. Organizational skills a must.
Additional skills like welding, vehicle maintenance/repair, body work, fabrication, machinist/hobbyist, computer skills, CNC would be a good fit here but not a deal breaker.
This can be a part time or full time position to just keep the shop (3000sq feet) clean and organized. Then start on inventory. We moved from one building to this one and about 25% never got unpacked or stocked.
There is no rush and no one expecting anything but working at a comfortable pace and accomplishing something every day.
If you are a smoker please move to the next post.
Zero pressure but high expectations.
Examples:
You should be able to lift things but nothing heavy has we have a fork lift available for that. If a crew is missing something in the field you would be trusted to know what they need, where to find it and drop it off to prevent a return trip by a two man crew.
I'm looking to sell off most of what is in the building including tools, toys and machinery. I'm looking for someone confident with capturing digital images, knowing how to create a post and put them on a web site for sale (Craigslist or Offerup), make the sale and take a XX% commission. These skills would be a bonus but again, not a deal breaker.
We had a retired guy who we relied upon for several years until his health gave out. That scenario worked out well for both of us while it lasted. For what he contributed (some days he worked 4hrs, some days 10.
He was paid $500/week cash and that worked for both of us.
