Description Tucson Young Professionals holds a monthly CEO Roundtable as an avenue of professional development for our members and the community. We ask our featured speaker to candidly speak for 30 - 35 minutes about their lessons and advice for professional growth and community impact. NOTE: As we remain committed to in-person events, we continually monitor the ebbs and flows of COVID-19. Please be advised for this event we may be requiring masks, unless eating/drinking. Throughout her various roles, her driving and central passion has been to support communities in tackling their most vexing challenges through innovative and research-based initiatives. Her experience spans from grassroots economic development through supporting startups and small businesses, to working on Chicago’s south side helping communities address community violence, to working with New York City Public Schools, to helping major national utilities engage customers in emerging tech-based energy efficiency practices. To each of these roles, Dre brings a wealth of creativity, a deep understanding of human behavior, and extensive experience crafting, measuring, and evaluating community-wide initiatives. Through her work, Dre has learned how to bring diverse stakeholders to the table for powerful and impactful collaborations. Dre has served on the Board of the Tucson Young Professionals as Governance Chair, on the Marketing Advisory Committee of the Women’s Foundation, the Talent Attraction and Retention Taskforce at the Tucson Metro Chamber, the Business Advisory Committee at the Pima Community College, and is a member of the Tucson Innovation Partnership. What is TYP? Tucson Young Professionals is a group of young business and community leaders focused on creating an innovative, prosperous and inclusive Greater Tucson for young professionals.
