Free STEAM fun for girls & their families with a focus on flight! Let your imagination take flight during this day of free family fun for all ages! You'll find all kinds of inspiration around the miracle of flight and other amazing feats of engineering. Families can fly a drone, make a robotic hand, experiment with paper airplanes and catapults, parachutes and more. Partners include Make 48, Garmin, Burns & McDonnell, The DeBruce Foundation, The Marble Guy and local robotics teams. Families can make it a full day out with nearby events, including an open house at Makefully Studio/Start at Zero and a Bear Cub Crawl and more at the nearby Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center. The festivities are all part of Remake Learning Days Across America, the nation's largest open house of hands-on learning.
