Press release from the Port Jefferson School District: April 18, 2022 The Port Jefferson School District Board of Education welcomed four guest speakers to the April 12 meeting. Port Jefferson Middle School students Elizabeth Campo, Lia Donohue, Max Kronberg and Gianna Viviano spoke of the leadership opportunities they are involved in at the middle school. They thanked the board members for their continued support of the morning announcements, a recent bake sale that raised more than $200 and an upcoming field trip. Elizabeth noted the academic, social and emotional benefits that field trips provide for all students. The students them thanked interim principal Mr. James Nolan and assistant principal Mr. Brian Walker for their guidance and encouragement in helping them to become the leaders they are every day.
