Tool and engine expert, Shane Labrake, will discuss tool use, maintenance, and safety with hands-on demonstrations. In the morning participants will learn how small engines work and how to properly care for them. The afternoon will include hands-on practice with tillers, weed wackers, mowers, chain saws and more. Participants will walk away with newfound confidence in safely using tools and completing basic maintenance on small engines. This workshop is perfect for anyone who’d like to take advantage of the Tool Library inventory but doesn’t yet feel comfortable operating all the tools available. Also, feel free to bring any tools you’re having trouble with or have questions about, and our expert can help troubleshoot.
