Rehoming our 2 year old Australian cattle dog heeler, Wiley. 99% of the time he is the most affectionate and sweet dog that just wants to be near his owner. He is very loving. However, we rescued him over a year ago from a very abusive home. And he has triggers that raise his anxiety to an extreme. For a full year he would only threaten us with growls. However 3 days ago he attacked my arm and hand giving me about 12 puncture wounds. Since then he has become even more dominant and will eventually attack again. He needs to be in a home with no children and with someone who will give him plenty of exercise. He is very high energy and has anxiety. I am unable to take care of him anymore because now k am afraid of him and he is very aware of this. He is a beautiful dog. Very loving and sweet and affectionate when he is not having anxiety. Please help me find a home with a more experienced owner for my boy. We are located in San Leandro California. He has not been fixed and will need a vet visit. Small Rehoming fee.
