Explore Tallahassee's Capital Cascades Corridor while developing a richer understanding it's history, planning, and engineering.
Tallahassee-Leon County's Planning Department will lead participants on a leisurely ride along the Capital Cascades Corridor while discussing the urban-planning concepts that shape the way it looks today. Expect to learn about urban design, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, environmental planning, as well as historical and cultural preservation projects along the corridor.
Expect to ride approximately 5 miles with many intermittent stops. Come prepared with your own bicycle (or skateboard, scooter, e-scooter, e-bike, etc.), plenty of water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a snack.
