About the Exhibition Tropical Forest: Ancestry and Dystopia The Amazon rainforest is one of the planet’s largest and most important ecosystems, it serves as a home to the people who inhabit the forest and to forces that impact its future and affect global climate change. These themes are explored in “Forest: Ancestry and Dystopia,“a photography exhibition, presented by The55Project Art Foundation in collaboration with The Fundación Pablo Atchugarry in Miami, from February 19 to July 16, 2022. The exhibition features the work of 16 Brazilian artists curated by Eder Chiodetto, aims to raise awareness about the Amazon’s rich natural resources, reflecting on its mythical, environmental, and anthropological aspects, as well as calling attention to the destructive forces that threaten the biome: deforestation, agro-industry, and illegal mining. About The Eyecontact – Lives Shaped by Autism Project Founded by the artist Grazi Gadia and by pediatric neurologist, Dr. Carlos Gadia, MD. The mission is to embrace the mothers of persons with autism. The mothers are the main voice of Autism in the world, but their life stories are always behind the scenes. Therefore, the goal of Eyecontact became to highlight their protagonism in achieving social inclusion, more qualified treatment, and a better quality of life for the autism community in Brazil and in the world through a framework of arts. The project believes that the art is a drive to include and connect the individuals with autism in the society. @eyecontactlivesshapedbyautism
