Description
Just moved to Ft. Collins. Up until a bit ago I was in a fairly well know alternative country/rock band in Denver for several years. Played just about everywhere.
I was the main vocals, rhythm guitar player (acoustic & tele) some lead playing and primary songwriter. But I’m completely willing to serve in a supporting harmony role if the circumstances are right.
I’m 52, so looking for other older experienced musicians, 40s—50s. Some of my main influences: Waylon, Turnpike Ts, Uncle Tupelo, Drive-by Truckers, Lucero, Chris Knight, etc. I’m wide open to playing covers (there’s a void out there that’s ready to be filled by danceable outlaw country covers, btw) but I definitely enjoy creating original music with like minded musicians.
I would really like to get back on stage with committed musicians who want to give the crowd a great show. I’d prefer to connect with other veteran musicians: folks who aren’t strangers to the stage and the band experience.
Once I commit I show up on time, I put in the work, I respect my band mates’ time, and I give it my all. If you’re not feeling really sure about your ability to put in the time and effort, please save us both the time by not responding.
If you think all of the above seems like it might fit the direction you’d like to go, hit me up. I’ll listen to your ideas and the recordings you share. I respect my fellow musicians, so I won’t ghost people who take the time to reach out.
Thanks for reading.
