Man Accused Of Striking Woman With Glass At Portsmouth's Press Room

PORTSMOUTH, NH — A Queen City man faces assault charges after being accused of smashing a woman in the face with a glass at a local restaurant on April 8. Around 11:30 p.m., police were sent to the Press Room on Daniel Street for an assault report. A woman was struck with a glass and taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for treatment. A suspect fled the area before police arrived. An officer investigated the incident, which led to a suspect being identified: Michael J. Rohan, 29, of Manchester. A warrant was issued for his arrest for reckless conduct and two assault charges. Rohan was booked and processed on the warrant, without incident, on April 16.
