NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area between April 11 and Sunday. Read below to see all incidents: April 11 Police responded to the area of Sackettsford Road for a report of a dispute. After further investigation, an arrest warrant was issued. A report of a two-vehicle traffic accident was made from Chestnut Drive at Newtown Richboro Road; one driver pulled onto Newtown Richboro Road in front of another driver, causing a collision. There were no reported injuries, but both vehicles required a tow. April 12 Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Holland Road. Officers found one driver who was wanted on an active warrant. H was taken into custody and additionally charged with drug charges. Police responded to Harriet Road for a report of a simple assault. After further investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for an involved person.April 13 The person involved in an assault case from the previous day was located by police at a local convenience store. The person was taken into custody. Police responded to 2nd Street Pike at Almshouse Road for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident; one driver rear-ended another driver. After a brief discussion, the struck driver left the area. There were no reported injuries, but both vehicles sustained minor damage. Police responded to the 400 block of New Road for a report of a single-vehicle traffic accident. The complainant reported an unknown vehicle striking his mailbox, leaving debris in the area. From the debris, officers were able to determine the striking vehicle was a maroon Ford Edge between 2017 to 2019. April 14 A report of a two-vehicle traffic accident was reported from Tanyard Road at Hatboro Road. One driver rear-ended another. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow. Police responded to the Pheasant Valley shopping center for a report of a hit and run accident. The complainant reported that she had parked her vehicle in the front lot facing eastbound. When she returned to her vehicle around 1:13 p.m. she noticed that there was a large scrape with white paint along the driver side door. April 15 Police responded to the parking lot of a local business for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident; one driver backed into another driver. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow. Police responded to Holland Road at Upper Holland Road for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident; a driver turned left in front of another driver, causing a collision. The struck driver was transported to SMMC for further evaluation. Both vehicles required a tow. April 16 A report of criminal mischief was made from Tanglebrook Drive. The complainant reports that an unknown subject or vehicle struck his mailbox post causing damage. Police responded to Buck Road at Stoneyford Road for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident; one driver turned in front of another driver, causing a collision. After further investigation, the vehicle operator was taken into custody for driving under the influence. Police responded to Hatboro Road at New Road for a report of a traffic accident; one driver entered the intersection and collided with another driver. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow. Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Buck Road at Holland Road for a traffic violation. After further investigation, the vehicle operator was taken into custody for DUI.April 17 A traffic stop in the area of East Bristol Road at Wordsworth Drive led to drug charges for a juvenile. Police discovered that the driver of the vehicle was only 13 years old. Several juvenile occupants were also in the vehicle; one was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. All of their parents were notified and responded to the scene.Police responded to the area of Cedar Drive for a report of a stolen ATV. The complainant stated the ATV was listed on Facebook Marketplace for a short period of time, but marked pending when he sold it to his family member. It was last scene on April 2 when he was performing maintenance and cleaning it before putting it back into the shed in the rear of his yard. The ATV is described as a 2002 yellow Honda TRX 300 EX.
