NEW MILFORD, CT — Police have identified a Brookfield man as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash along Route 7 on Thursday. Ryan Laedke, 34, collided with a Lexus SUV while riding his Suzuki motorcycle near Faith Church in New Milford on Danbury Road around 4:30 p.m. He succumbed to his injuries after being taken to Danbury Hospital. The Lexus was driven by a 73-year-old Bethel woman, who was unharmed. The New Milford Police Department has requested that anyone with more information about the crash contact Officer Smith at 860-355-3133.
