NEW MILFORD, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories. This submission comes from Kathryn Smith who nominated Sue Pereira and Michelle Freeman of New Milford. Hero's job: Owner of Fitness Studio/Co-worker Reason for recognition: Sue & Michelle have been working non-stop to create a friendly, positive, and extraordinarily safe & clean environment for our members & the community. They got creative in order to facilitate outdoor classes and proper spacing. They are daily heroes. One thing to know: Sue and Michelle are both creative, driven, and positive.
