We service both commercial and residential clients and specialize in receiving, storage, delivery, and installation of furniture, accessories, and art. We are seeking a responsible Moving Truck Driver/Furniture Assembler And Installer to do local deliveries as well as assembling and installing furniture for our commercial and residential customers and to distribute goods promptly to our customers. A CDL is not required but a Florida drivers license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug test is a must. Rate of pay is based on experience, performance and level of responsibility. We also recognize that good customer service is of the utmost importance and pay bonuses to employees based on consistent positive feedback from customer surveys. Responsibilities Drive and operate a Non CDL straight box truck Load, unload, prepare, inspect, deliver, assemble and install a wide variety of items for local customers Follow routes and time schedule while communicating with office Ask for customer feedback on provided services and work with management to ensure customer satisfaction Carry heavy objects Use common sense and innovation to safely accomplish your tasks Complete logs and reports Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Work overtime and some Saturdays as needed and required Skills Proven working experience as a Box Truck Driver, moving and assembly experience also preferred Valid Florida driver’s license/CDL not required Ability to operate forklifts Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record with no traffic violations Be mechanically inclined with excellent assembly skills
