The cakes are literally works of art designed to be eaten. Each cake starts as a blank canvas and through imagination, creativity, and hours upon hours of painstaking work, evolves into an awe-inspiring piece of edible artwork, almost too gorgeous to be eaten. (And I say almost, because the taste is beyond compare!)  Thanks to the efforts of Mikayla and Marco, the bakery boasts a stellar reputation, as one of the top venues in the area for ordering intricately decorated Wedding, Anniversary, Birthday, holiday and special occasion cakes, custom designed to look like museum-quality works of art, beyond your wildest dreams.  Equally as impressive is their daily menu - which slightly varies day-to-day - but almost always includes their world-famous almond croissants, cinnamon rolls, macaroons, gourmet cupcakes, scones, coffee cakes, brownies, eclairs, donuts, European-inspired Kolacky, decorated sugar cookies, assorted pastries, chocolate chip cookies and sweet rolls.  Not only is it a bakery - but also a quiet and quaint coffee and tea shop - where one can get a professionally created hot or cold beverage and pair it with a donut, pastry or sweet treat.  The small seating area makes for a cozy, quiet and charming spot to sit for a minute and take a moment to reflect over a gourmet beverage. Its a place where one can partake in a beverage, and a sweet treat, while checking newspaper headlines or texts. Everything is hand-made daily, at the crack-of-dawn...from scratch with the highest quality ingredients...such as real butter, cream cheese, sour cream and sugar! The homemade frostings on the gourmet cupcakes and cakes are an impressively and carefully calculated balance of butter and sugar...just enough to satisfy a sweet tooth...without being overly sweet. The frosting is a Heavenly treat!  Beauty and the BAKER is a place where old-fashioned, country farmhouse baking, merges with modern techniques, and trendy designs...resulting in a perfect fusion of yesteryear and today!  "What we have created and nurtured through these years is something we no longer want associated with the name and ownership it once was. It is entirely different than what it was in 2017 and we want to separate our accomplishments from those of the previous owner and name.
