Press release from the City Of Davis: April 14, 2022 The community is invited to ride their bikes at the 12th annual Loopalooza on Sunday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sponsored by the City of Davis, Bike Davis and The Bike Campaign, this beloved Davis tradition is a 12-mile bike loop with 11 fun and interactive stations along the way. Loop stations include: an e-bike test ride hosted by Ken's Bike-Ski-Board, bike mechanics, the UC Davis Bike Barn, the UC Davis Marching Band and a Davis Pump Track presentation. Attendees can also enter to win a $100 gift certificate from the Bike Squad. In addition to the stations, Loopalooza will host its first "performance stage" featuring improv and music at Community Park with the following performers: Birdstrike Theatre at 10:30 a.m., Cherry Pie Comedy at 11:30 a.m. and the band Island Crew at 12:30 p.m. All are invited to make this free event a special day by visiting local greenbelts, picnicking at the park and connecting with friends and neighbors.
