GROTON, CT — The Fairview Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care Center is struggling with a coronavirus outbreak among residents and staff, according to The Day. Since September, the facility has had 52 residents and 17 staff members test positive for COVID-19. Two residents have died. The state Department of Public Health inspected the facility Saturday and found no deficiencies in its infection control protocols. Visitation to Fairview has been suspended due to the outbreak.
