GRAFTON, MA — There are 18 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Grafton, as of Friday. The town said Public Health Officials are working closely with the individuals and will notify others that the individuals may have been in contact with. Grafton has deployed nine bariatric cots to Southbridge Hospital to assist in their response to the pandemic. Churches in Grafton are still operational and implementing remote services. There have been close to 9,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Massachusetts as of Thursday. Governor Charlie Baker said this week a surge of coronavirus patients is expected April 7-17.
