Underground contractor seeking EXPERIENCED laborers, pipelayers, and operators. We have been in business for over 30 years and have immediate openings to join our team. We do both standard and prevailing wage projects in the San Diego County area. We have very low turnover, with many of our employees having been here for more than 10 years. All applicants must have a minimum 3 years of experience in WET utility construction: Sanitary sewer, domestic water, fire water, and storm drainage systems. Must be reliable and trustworthy. Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others. Operators must have a minimum 3 years of experience running a combination of excavators, loaders, backhoes, mini-excavators, and skid steers with both CAT and CASE controls. Daily inspection and maintenance are required. Additional experience is beneficial (but not required): Ability to read plans, check grade, safety training (CPR/First Aid, OSHA 10/30, Trench Safety, etc.), Foreman experience, or Class A licensed applicants with dump truck and equipment hauling experience. Drug Testing required. Clean DMV required. Must have reliable transportation to the jobsites. Competitive wages and benefits.
