Open letter to men riding the max To the kind and thoughtful men who don't sit next to women on the max when there are other seats and don't try to start conversation: Thank you! You are doing the right thing and we women appreciate it. To the kind and thoughtful men who have come to my daughters rescue when she was being harassed: Thank you!! One guy in particular came up to her and said that he's just going to stand behind her and a couple feet away to intimidate the guy who wouldn't leave her alone. He stood there like a body guard until she was safely boarded. You are my hero whoever you are. To the men who try to shake hands, sit right next to or won't stop talking to women who are alone: I know you may be nice but when there is no one around the nicest thing you can do is let us know that you respect our space and how your presence may come across. Just something to think about ☺️
