Hello singers, songwriters, and anyone who plays an entertaining or interesting instrument. Each Friday, there is an open mic night at the VFW at the corner of Palm and Seacoast Blvd. Well, it's technically outside the building under a sort of tent, but that's even better. The guy who runs the event has a sound system set up, amps and lights. I've played there a couple of times and had fun. The people are nice and respectful of musicians. Hey, if even I can get some nice applause, you can too! Since covid, a lot of open mics didn't make it. I'm just letting anyone who wants to get in front of a friendly audience and perform that there is a place in South County on Fridays from around seven until ten.
