Small Christian owned company, looking for an Operations Assistant to assist the day to day operations. Individual must have a positive attitude, be willing to dive into daily tasks, and the ability cultivate a team atmosphere. We are a 3rd party Amazon seller, that specializes in women's and children's fashion. Company hours are: M-F 8:30am - 5pm Operations Assistant hours: TBD (flexibility is an option) OPERATIONS ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION: The Operations Assistant is responsible to oversee the organization’s operational functions which include various departments, such as warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, inventory and manufacturing. They must make sure that the company’s products meet or exceed clients’ or customers’ expectations. They must make sure that the company’s operations run smoothly and effectively. They oversee budgets and cost control. They must make sure that the company conducts their business in a safe manner and complies with safety and environmental rules and regulations. Individual must have leadership, managerial, and interpersonal skills. They must have excellent oral and written communication skills. They must follow company's policies and procedures. They must follow changes in government rules and regulations related to labor issues, safety requirements, and environment issues. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Assist the day to day company operations, including, but not limited to shipping and receiving, inventory, warehousing and QC. Assist warehouse, including organization, flow, cleanliness and inventory. Assist all office and warehouse personnel. Coordinate with purchasing warehouse flow and employee work loads. Handle returns, including processes to re-sell. Monitor and manage operational & inventory costs. Control Inventory Age and determine profit/loss on aged listings. Handle inventory control, including short-term and long-term inventory costs. Handle Quality Control of products receiving and shipping. Manage Account Health on all platforms, including Feedback Rating. Troubleshoot Account issues, as they arise, on all platforms. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Strong analytical thinker to manage costs and processes. Excellent leadership skills and experience as an assistant/team builder, motivator. Excellent ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure and time constraints. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Excel, Word and computer skills. Able to lift 30 lb. boxes, if needed. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
