Description

Baby green cheeks, 3 months old ready to go to their new homes. Hand fed raised and tamed. These baby green cheeks have been handled daily with lots of love and care. Each baby has been vet checked and tested. We test and check all our babies and monitor them daily throughout 3 months to guarantee their health and quality. They are all super sweet and playful. They are fed a quality diet of pellets and fresh chop every day. They get lots of human interaction and lots of playtime with stimulating toys that help with their foraging instinct, this allows us to raise babies that are happy, healthy and confident. Green cheeks have great personalities and have the ability to talk. They are a very smart species. They act like a big parrot inside of a smaller body. They are very easy to care for once you have all the supplies and toys needed. We offer full support before and after adoption. We are happy to talk to anyone about our parrots. We loved and cared for them for 3 months so we like to make sure they go to the right home. We are here to answer any questions regarding care. This is a full on commitment that we take for these babies. The parents are cared for and given everything they need for them to thrive and be healthy. Parents also get check ups and tested. And once they pass their hormonal seasonal period they have an open room space to be able to interact with us daily. Please keep in mind you cannot compare a hand fed raised baby green cheek that has been hand fed, handled, vet checked and tested to a green cheek that is being rehomed. Not all but the majority of rehomed green cheeks most of the time are rehomed due to bad behavior issues, nipping, loudness or health issues. Adopting a rehomed green cheek that has no known history of their upbringing is not for all. It can be very hard to start from 0 with an older green cheek that is scared of human interaction, for some of those honest people that rehome this type of Conure they usually label them as a (breeder only) meaning the only thing they can possibly be good for is to be shoved into another cage with another Conure and hopefully breed because they are unable to be handled due to their aggressiveness or scared of humans behavior. Many are raised by their parents or simply hand fed but never handled, this can never build a green cheeks confidence or allow them to feel safe or comfortable with people. It is important to handle them daily as babies so they get very used to people. Building a strong bond with their parents is also important because when we have to clean out nest boxes or handle the babies to check them the parents are not scared and the babies sense this, they sense that their parents trust us that we do what’s best for them. This creates a calm and peaceful environment. If they are raised with all needs met there is never a need to be loud, nippy or develop bad behavior. So once these babies go to their new homes they are ready to bond with their new owners and this in turn makes the experience for both the owner and the bird like no other, this allows beginners and new bird parents to have a great experience with their parrot.
