Guitarist looking to start/join an alternative rock band

I'm looking to start or join an alternative rock band on the north shore. I mainly play guitar, but I can also play bass and some keyboards. I'm very much into 90's alternative, bands like Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, Ween, Dandy Warhols, Radiohead, Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, etc. I'm also a fan of 80's post-punk, like The Cure and Echo and the Bunnymen. My personal playing style leans toward alternative with a little bit of metal influence, but I love synthesizers and hope that would make its way into our sound. I should also note I'm 26, and I'm hoping to find people in my age range! I am not interested in doing covers really. One or two is okay, but if you're looking to be in a cover band, I'm generally not interested.
