Growing and licensed renovation company with work in DC (80% in DC) and No. Va. is looking for the following individual for full-time or part-time basis: Professional Qualifications: Looking for a responsible supervisor-type individual that can perform various renovation tasks on their own and/or lead a small group of individuals to complete large and small home renovation projects for some of our existing projects. Individual must be a person of high integrity - professional, detail oriented, responsible, trustworthy and have residential 6+ years of hands-on renovation construction experience from rough-in to finish-level. From a skills perspective the individual must possess the following experience: *Carpentry skills (need to be able to understand how to square and install walls, doors, cabinets, etc...) *Tiling skills (needs to know how tile is laid and how to supervise for success) *Some drywall skills (needs to know how finishing drywall is performed and to judge finish completion) *Some plumbing skills (needs to understand plumbing install practices and pitfalls to manage) *Some electrical skills (needs to be able to understand basic wiring and install outlets, GFI's, breakers, etc...and understand electrical codes) * Also, we are looking for someone that understands how to lay concrete and do some basic masonry work (although not a requirement). *Possess own tools *Must possess own vehicle that they can use - we will refunded mileage on a bi-weekly basis Personal Qualifications: *Responsible and trustworthy *Excellent people and customer skills *Enthusiastic and positive demeanor *Must be able to speak some Spanish *Drug and drama free *Clean driving record and valid driver's license *Be willing to have a background check performed Ideal candidate must be a team-player that can work with a small team, and/or supervise their own crew. MUST BE DETAIL ORIENTED and very careful with work place surroundings. Work will involve residential/homeowner projects, and small multi-unit buildings (2-6 unit condos).
