Cape Fear Equipment, LLC is a small business in Wilmington, NC who buys, sells, and services collision repair equipment. We are NOT a body shop! Our goal is to provide equipment services and parts to body shops located in North and South Carolinas. In our warehouse, we have many different projects going on - as we do refurbish used equipment. If you have a background in hydraulics or electrical, that would be a plus. We are a laid back, small company that can offer a little more leniency than a corporate business. We want our employees to get along well and be stress free while at work while putting in hard work to make things run smooth and successfully. Responsibilities: - Rebuild hydraulic motors - Assist in tracking of inventory - Prepare equipment for refurbishment (power wash/ sand/ paint/ etc) - Test equipment prior to delivery or pickup - Tidy/organize the shop - Help move equipment - Run errands in company vehicle from time to time Qualifications: - Ability to lift 50 pounds or more - Ability to stand for long periods of time - Can work Monday-Friday (8:30am-4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch) - Have a valid NC driver's license - Willing to learn the ropes of the job - Can speak and read English well Plus, but not required: - Ability to drive a forklift - Background in hydraulics - Background in electricals
