BAY SHORE, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Islip Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions. She is a 6 yr old energetic Pit who has been here since May of 2019 and is patiently waiting for her forever home. Sadie is very sweet and is friendly with everyone she meets. She is possessive with toys and once she gets a hold of one she does not like to give it up! Due to this Sadie needs to be the only pet in an adult only home. She needs an experienced and committed owner willing to give her time to decompress and the training she needs (on and off leash).
