Job Summary: An established 36-year-old plumbing company is seeking immediate hire for plumber’s apprentices in the Denver Metro area. NO plumbing experience required, but please indicate that you are mechanically inclined and what experience you have (does not specifically need to be plumbing). We value the fact that our journeyman plumbers started as apprentices with our company and are training the next generation of plumbers. This is an opportunity to learn a trade while working in high-end, over the top custom homes and high-rise units to large commercial locations. If you’re ready to start your career in plumbing, this is the place to do it. Responsibilities and Duties: • Assist journeyman plumbers • Interpret architectural plans in the field. • Learn plumbing codes • Perform miscellaneous tasks as required that assist in project completion. Qualifications and Skills: • NO experience required. • General knowledge of construction tasks, tools and procedures is helpful. • Hard working, self-starter • Good communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information. They must also have a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record as travel is necessary for this position. The job locations are throughout the metro area so the ability to get to and from job sites is essential. If you do not have these, please DO NOT apply. Physical Requirements include: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like; Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces; Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods; Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another; Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions; Communicating with others to exchange information; Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers; Operating machinery and/or power tools; Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
