Description

looking to play today I can host looking for men Asap......, ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' Drummer looking for shoegaze/dream pop/indie rockDrummer, mid-30s, been playing for more than 20 years. I'm looking for a new creative outlet, and I'd really like to play some shoegaze. Bring me your fuzzed out guitars, your ethereal vocals, your driving basslines, and I'll keep things moving and even throw in some vocal harmonies. I'm happy to slot in to an existing group or start from the ground up. I'm in this for a creative outlet. I have a kid & a job so I can't go on tour, but I'd like to gig around town regularly and get some recordings down. Hit me up, and let's grab a beer to talk music! Experienced rock/pop drummer, joined by bass player, rhythm guitarist, lead guitarist and keyboards, putting together an 80's cover project in Milwaukee. Do you love 80's music (B-52's, Romantics, Hall & Oates, The Smiths, The Go-Go's, Tears for Fears)? We need a lead male vocalist who plays keys! Multi-instrumentalist would be fantastic! If you are professional and want to have FUN hit us up! The M80's want you! I'm a songwriter/drummer with 10 completed demo rock songs who needs a vocalist for a band. The songs currently feature a session vocalist from the UK but I need a front man who is local to the Los Angeles area. The songs are all very catchy, strong & ready for the radio. The goal is to re-record all 10 tracks with a new singer who would be part of the band going forward. There is a bit of a range of styles within the songs, but they are all some form of rock. (Think a range from Foo Fighters to Scorpions to Springsteen.) Some are heavier and some have a poppier influence. No death metal though. We're going for more mainstream catchiness.Must be good enough to play songs just like they were recorded, or close to it. Looking to play out once or twice a month (give or take), and have a good time. Practice in Palatine once a week Sunday nights 6 to 830 ? Send info about yourself, and any videos of your playing.Jazz project with weekly( mostly) rehearsals- primarily real book stuff- for jazz project. Vibe is important - looking to have fun, rehearse and do some gigs eventually but if you view rehearsal only as a means to an end this might not be the best fit. Transportation, gear and happy attitude are essential. Upright/contra bass would be cool but not necessary. We have keys, drums, conga, guitar and horns already in place but sub and drop in's are cool as well.
