I'm looking for a new creative outlet, and I'd really like to play some shoegaze. Bring me your fuzzed out guitars, your ethereal vocals, your driving basslines, and I'll keep things moving and even throw in some vocal harmonies. I'm happy to slot in to an existing group or start from the ground up. I'm in this for a creative outlet. I have a kid & a job so I can't go on tour, but I'd like to gig around town regularly and get some recordings down. Hit me up, and let's grab a beer to talk music! Guitar Player & Drummer looking for a semi/pro bass player. ZZ Top....SRV....Allman Bros....Blues Bros....ect. Must be good enough to play songs just like they were recorded, or close to it. Looking to play out once or twice a month (give or take), and have a good time. Practice in Palatine once a week Sunday nights 6 to 830 ? Send info about yourself, and any videos of your playing.Jazz project with weekly( mostly) rehearsals- primarily real book stuff- for jazz project. Vibe is important - looking to have fun, rehearse and do some gigs eventually but if you view rehearsal only as a means to an end this might not be the best fit. Transportation, gear and happy attitude are essential. Upright/contra bass would be cool but not necessary. We have keys, drums, conga, guitar and horns already in place but sub and drop in's are cool as well.
