Paws for a Cause Dog Walk & Fair is back!!!!! On Sunday, May 22, Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) invites all dog lovers in our community to register for Paws for a Cause, our sixth annual Dog Walk and Fair. Due to COVID and the Almeda fire, the event was cancelled the last two years, so we’re very excited to hold the event this again! The first year of this event 40 dogs were registered but by 2019 there were 150 canine participants. We’re hoping for great participation this year! Registration can be done in advance online at www.fotas.org/dog-walk or in-person, beginning at 9:00am on Sunday, May 22, near Nature’s Pet Market (969 Medford Center Dr) in Medford. The dog walk begins at 10:00am. Registration is $25 per dog which includes a nice bag of doggy goodies. Those who pre-register by May 1st, however, qualify for more chances to win baskets of pet goodies worth up to $75.
