He has performed or recorded with Stone Sour (their #8 Billboard 200 record Hydrograd), Psychic Temple with Dream Syndicate, Rob Leines, PEARL (featuring Pearl Aday, Scott Ian of Anthrax and Joey Vera from Armored Saint & Fate's Warning), Greg Loiacono of the Mother Hips, Jason Hawk Harris, Leeann Skoda, Zack Hexum and the hillbilly boogie band, The Stardust Ramblers. He led the monthly series "Joel Martin's Pedal Steel Party" at venues in both San Diego & Los Angeles for four years. These gave him an opportunity to feature and play with some of the premier songwriting talent in LA including Miranda Lee Richards, Frank Lee Drennen (Dead Rock West), Brett Hool (We Are The West), Simon Petty (Minibar) & Brent Rademaker (GospelbeacH/Beachwood Sparks).
