Well-established, busy, family-owned locksmith company is looking for a motivated, responsible, and extremely organized apprentice; professional self-starter who possesses excellent customer relations skills and is very proficient at problem solving independently or with a team.
No previous experienced required; will train the right candidate(s) with the goal to eventually work independently in the shop and on the road in a company van.
This position is for a locksmith apprenticeship, shadowing and working alongside experienced locksmiths on commercial and residential tasks such as: re-keying, master keying; installing doors, door frames, door hardware, panic hardware, and electric strikes; programming vehicle keys/Fobs; will also learn about automobile and truck locks and how they function.
Expected to work some Saturdays in our store, rotating Saturday hours with the other techs; clean driving record required and must be willing to submit to a background check.
Pay will be based on experience, skill, character, and attitude.
