CBMVT is a well established commercial cleaning company and we are seeking a Full Time Evening Supervisor to oversee our evening field operations. Schedule is Monday - Friday 3pm-11:30pm. Sign On Bonus: $500 Evening Supervisor Reports to: CBMVT Operations Manager & Corporate Vice President ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT Manages CBMVT/SAN-MAR CLEANING’s operations to provide the most desirable level of customer service and satisfaction in a cost-effective manner. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s field operations. Trains, supervises, evaluates, and develops employees to provide adequate resources to conduct business. Assists customers with any type of account problems and special requests and works on a mutually beneficial solution. ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Visits customer accounts to improve customer satisfaction • Conducts inspections of accounts to ensure services are up to standards as required • Coordinates coverage where necessary • Promotes Extra Billing services to clients as a means of additional revenue • Addresses issues of concerns with customers and employees and works towards a resolution • Directs and coordinates activities concerned with managing resources, delivering time sensitive services, and supply procurement • Manages staff, prepares work schedules and assigning specific duties • Appraises the performance of employees and provides feedback of employees as needed • Performs related cleaning work as needed or assigned • Performs training on proper cleaning and safety techniques • Maintains equipment as needed KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices • People skills in dealing with customers, employees, vendors, and the public • Ability to supervise, plan, direct, and coordinate the work of employees in the implementation of CBMVT policies and procedures • Ability to identify problem areas and recommend solutions regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of operations • Ability to represent CBMVT and to accurately communicate its policies and practices • Ability to disseminate effective advice regarding potential problem areas and the formulation, implementation, and attainment of CBMVT goals and objectives for service • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, employees and supervisors • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to individuals and to groups • Ability to plan, organize, and supervise, through various levels of subordinates, the work of CBMVT employees in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale   • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • High School Diploma or equivalent • Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory capacity • Valid Vermont Driver’s License with acceptable driving record PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using telephone, email and other methods of contact • Physical capability to effectively use and operate various related equipment industry equipment in the field. • No issues with significant standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling • Some crawling, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, pushing, and pulling • Strong stamina for complex work and ability to occasionally work long hours • Some lifting – generally under 50 pounds SUPERVISION RECEIVED • General and specific assignments are received from the CBMVT Operations Manager & Corporate Vice President • Work is performed with little direct supervision and with extensive latitude for the use of independent judgment, subject to review by Management • General guidance and direction is received from the CBMVT Operations Manager & Corporate Vice President for adherence to CBMVT policies and attainment of desired goals and objectives SUPERVISION EXERCISED • Plans, organizes, and directs all field employees Benefits Include: Healthcare after 90 days 401k Paid Holidays after 90 days Paid Vacation after 1 year Company Phone Gas Stipend If interested in applying, please respond via craigslist with resume or letter of interest, or you may call the phone number provided to discuss further and schedule interview.
