Any other Homelabbers around? Would like to get some ideas and advice on which services to run in my homelab, along with various setup advice. I have some ideas based on network diagrams posted on reddit. I currently have Google fiber using their router (so pretty limited on networking/firewall config), but have a MikroTik switch, proxmox running on a NUC w/ 32gb memory, a couple of NAS boxes, some raspberry pi's, and a couple of other pc's laying around. Setting up PfSense is probably not an option right now (shared apartment/internet that allows for very little downtime) so I am having to make do with the Google router. Would like to get some security-related services (ELK, sysmon, honeypots, mock AD environment to monitor), nginx reverse proxy to expose (safely) some services/webpages, Nebula mesh vpn to be able to access my homelab from anywhere. Pretty much just wanting to learn anything and everything.
