*WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATELY FOR THIS POSITION** JC Communications is hiring for directional drilling & locating positions. We are located in Cedar Park, TX & have steady work in central Texas. Interviews available this week end! Must have legal right to work in US & pass E verification Must pass pre employment and random drug test Must have experience Must be able to lift 100lbs regularly Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must be willing to travel but minimal as most of our business is in central tx. We are also willing to hire & train entry level positions. Benefits 401K Health insurance 50/50 Employee PTO Paid holidays Pay- $15.00-$25 Per Hr Salary: Depends on Experience, read & understand prints, As-build project, CDL etc.. Experience: Min 2 years References: Required CDL: Required Duties range due to position, include but are not limited to • Read & understand Plans • Read & understand permits • Communicate with inspectors when required. • Drill & locate in utility congested easements & right of ways • Drive company truck to and from office daily • Understand utility locates and regulation • Pot-hole existing utilities to identify their location prior to drilling. Typically completed by others • Properly stock truck for success everyday • Operate excavation equipment for bore pits via backhoe or Mini ex • Work long hours • Lift heavy objects regularly • Have knowledge of OSHA standards to maintain a safe work site. • Identify proper PPE for tasks • Possibly hold safety tool box talks with crew in field • Use tools daily for repairs & daily project requirements • Work out of town on occasion. Most work is in central Texas but that is not guaranteed. Per-diem provided when out of town. • Work well with others • Possess customer service skills • Work in all types of weather • Make critical decisions & communicate well with supervisor • Pass pre employment and random drug test • Properly maintain equipment. Check fluids, grease equipment per operator manuals. • Set up utility work ahead signs and remove daily.
