Tennessee Speed Sport is a local family owned Automotive Aftermarket Parts Warehouse in Goodlettsville, TN. This is a High Energy fast paced environment with unlimited potential. We are looking for a Full-Time Material Handler Receiver who will Report to the Receiving Supervisor and work with the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth, timely and correct delivery of completed orders to our customers. You must be motivated and help the teams to ensure targets are achieved and customers’ expectations are met to the highest of standards. You will always be expected to ensure that high quality standards set out are adhered to. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES •Receive and inspect material, safely load and unload trucks •Keep track of incoming inventory •Use RDF scanners to efficiently track and maneuver product through the warehouse •Verify documentation and condition of product to assure quality standards are achieved •Check product for damage, verify count, sign paperwork of acceptance •Report all impaired or damaged merchandise items to direct report •Assist in inventory counts •Ensure the day to day warehouse tasks are completed as assigned •Assist with warehouse picking and loading outgoing trucks as needed •Use an extended reach forklift (6 foot) throughout warehouse in tight areas safely •May operate hand truck, pallet jack, or other equipment to move product from receiving to storage location (put away) •Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs •Completes paperwork or data entry for each movement. •Maintain a holistic view of the business and understand how your team’s actions and performance integrates and depends on others •Follow all Safety, Sanitation, & Security policies & procedures, as required. •Ensure good housekeeping by implementing, promoting, and sustaining a safe, organized, and productive 5S working environment. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS •High School Diploma or GED required •Valid Driver’s License •2-3 years forklift experience required •Warehouse experience required •Tennessee Forklift Operator Certification preferred PREFERRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES •Experience with Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Office) •Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time, bend, stoop, climb stairs •Able to lift up-to 70lbs multiple times throughout the shift •Work as a team with co-workers to ensure consistency and improve operations •Well organized with good time management skills •Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and deal with frequent interruptions •Willingness to accept change and ability to manage change SCHEDULE: •M-F 8:30am-5:00pm BENEFITS OVERVIEW •Vacation •Health insurance •Dental insurance •Vision insurance •Employee discounts •Referral program
