NEW HAVEN, CT — The state Department of Public Health recently released the number of deaths for each town in Connecticut and New Haven is reporting 56 deaths as a result of the new coronavirus. New Haven is reporting 1,523 laboratory confirmed cases as well. More than 2,000 people across the state have died and there have been over 26,000 confirmed cases of the virus in Connecticut.
