I simply don't understand why people make a conscious decision to stay low income for thier lifetimes. I've tried to help so many people get better jobs, better benefits and better lives. Yet they all seem to feel they are better off making less than 20k a year. The really sad part is they can fake the drug tests to get a better job and they all simply say no. If this is the future of our country than no wonder we are the next empire to fall. Too many are relying in welfare and foodstamps these days. It's so much worse than it was 30 years ago. Some people I know are still taking 15 bucks an hour so they don't have to take a drug test. I made that over 20 years ago. I don't get why people choose to be low income. Why do they choose to make thier kids grow up poor. I just don't get it. So many opportunities came up this past year and they say no. Why stay below the 25k a year when you're offered a 60k a year job???? Why? Is it laziness?
