I am looking for a loving, responsible, caring home for my beautiful Gertie! Moving to Hawaii and I can't take her. Gertie has had a hard life, first she was a classroom pet, which is how she lost one of her eyes through stress. Then she had been adopted through a shelter then surrendered AGAIN within a few months had been returned due to the adopters were moving. About Gertie: She loves to spend time around you, she doesn't like to be touched or picked up, but loves to have conversations with you, especially when she wants to eat. Just watching her coming out of her shell every day is amazing and rewarding! I am looking for someone who is caring and loving that will allow her to be independent. Looking for someone who has (girl only she not spayed) or had a GP in the past. They are NOT meant to be a first pet for children. They require daily care. I will include all her supplies. I will make sure she goes to the right home!!! -Cage/Play area -bedding -food/Hay
