Description
We are Public Nature, a punk rock band from NYC. We are signed to a small label in Amsterdam, just toured the East Coast with a Ramone, we have a couple of festivals during summer and gigs around NYC and will maybe sign with other people and we are schedule to record with Steve Albini. I mean is going ok for the band but I still don't have permanent members. Friends have been helping out for gigs.
We are looking for a permanent bassist. People come and go because they don't have a sound or don't want to rehearse more than 2 hours a week.
Please check these videos and hopefully you like the music:

Hopefully you are:
- Good-hearted person
- A writer of catchy, powerful, playful, and simple bass riffs
- Crazy obsessed with being tight
- Knows they will stay in the band for the long run. If you can only be in for a couple of years, it won't work. If drugs, family, marriage, work, or anything would interfere with lots of rehearsals and touring, it won't work. Your priority should be to make it in music. You can be as crazy as you are but it shouldn't interfere.
- Business-oriented person.

To stress the idea, think of Nirvana, The Beatles, The White Stripes, The Strokes, Oasis, The Black Keys, and similar. In every song bass riffs are super simple, catchy and clever. You have to like a simple, rocky and catchy approach to composing. Zero frills.
We are based in NYC and NJ.
You've seen us play, and you've seen our faces and names. Now we want to know about you. Please send links to videos, Instagram, etc.
